Live Performance Tutorial (using Reason): Performance
The drummer’s tempo controlled the overall tempo of the performance. We improvised for a minute or so at a steady tempo. Then the drummer began to gradually increase the tempo. One player gradually increased the intensity of the sounds in Reason, as the tempo increased. The pianist followed suit. After the climax, the drummer quickly drops the tempo back to near the original starting tempo and we all lay back and finally go out.
