Groove Tracking Tutorial: Overview
Synopsis
This demo shows how to use InTime™ for studio recording. We use InTime™ to track the groove as a pianist records a blues progression. We import the InTime™ recorded file into Cubase and use it to synchronize pre-recorded bass and drums parts. You can synchronize the drum and bass parts to the original (grooved) piano recording, in this case giving a laid back ‘in the pocket’ kind of feel. Or you can remove the groove from the piano part, resulting in an edgier sound.
